Born in Toronto, Q had been raised in Surrey, British Columbia for most of his childhood, and moved back to the GTA in his mid teens. The now 26-year-old rapper recollects, that, coming back to his roots wasn’t easy, and had now has come across issues he had never faced before. However, as he mentioned, education gave him an outlet to overcome the challenges set forth. Earlier in 2017 King Q was fortunate to open for Cryptic Wisdoms and among his most memorable performances, a solo show with Mugshot.

 

Currently Q is in the studio working on and developing his debut EP King In Da North. His first single off the album, Losers Aint Winnin, is being released on July 15, 2018, with a video for the single to follow. A second single is set to be released fall of 2018 with a suspected album release late December.
